Cleario runs as an always-on-top desktop overlay that never joins your video call — there is no bot, no extra participant, and no screen-share footprint. The window is excluded from screen capture by default, so it won't appear in your shared screen or in recordings made by the interviewer. You see it; they don't.
Cleario works alongside any video conferencing tool because it listens to your system audio directly — it does not integrate with or modify any platform. Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, and any other tool work out of the box.

Session metadata (mode, duration, date) is stored locally on your device so you can review recent sessions from the home screen. Full transcripts are encrypted and stored locally only — they are never uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly export them.
